Sneaking out of my workshop forum to share a few things I’ve enjoyed lately …
1. I loved getting a sneak peek into my friend, Shannon Sewell’s, world. In this video you’ll get to hear her heart behind what she does, how she styles her shoots, a look at her studio and how she shoots and edits her sessions (fast, too!). Click here and enjoy!
p.s. for the Q&A I had with Shannon right here on this bloggity-blog click here.
2. I always love watching Zack & Meg Arias’ portfolio critiques. They give their {very} honest opinion (Zack as a peer, Meg as a “client”) on peoples’ websites — the design, the flow, the individual pictures inside and more. There is lots of insanely important things he mentions and covers and I have learned so much from watching their critique videos. (p.s. be prepared to adjust your website/portfolio! I always see things differently and want to change things up once I watch another of their videos.)
If you are a photographer wanting to grow watch any of his 14 episodes by clicking here.
Speaking of critiques keep your pictures coming! They slowed down a bit after my last one so maybe I’m being too harsh?? Would love your opinions. And, remember if I quit getting fresh material I’ll quit doing them. They’re for you, not for me.
Yay for warmer weather here in the Midwest!

p.s. I assume most of you have read our adoption story in detail here and here, but for the abridged version I also shared it over on The Creative Mama last week.
