And, we’re off!

Posted in News, Uncategorized on January 07, 2009

My workshop finally started today! It was exactly what I was expecting…totally anti-climactic simply attaching the lesson & pressing send. Nonetheless, the very first lesson for the very first 503 |online| workshop is sitting in the inbox of 21 lovers of photography. I am thrilled to know that in only 6 short weeks there will be close to 2-dozen more people who truly get (or at least are well on their way) the art and fun a camera (that you know how to use) can bring.  I have always known this about myself, but learned even more so recently that I LOVE teaching.  I get such a kick out of seeing others love something as much as me and have a desire to learn.  So, learning we’re doing….and a TON of it.  I just hope my mass amounts of information doesn’t make any of my new students run the opposite direction! :-/

Depending on the interest level of others who didn’t get in the first round, I will be able to know how soon I should host another.  If you are in fact interested, send me an email and let me know! [jessica@503photography.com] Thanks so much!

(this picture is the slightest bit blurry simply because I was laughing so hard when snapping the picture. nonetheless, it’s so dang hilarious! I think it deserves a pretty frame. :)

    Dear, Sweet Jessica,

I was unaware of your situation and you have all my thoughts and prayers. You are an amazing couple and it seems like just yesterday that we were at your wedding. What an event that was!!! I saw a very mature and loving young woman who handled the unexpected weather with grace and love. After reading all of your letters, I can see that you have only grown from that day and it is so wonderful to hear you say that you are so in love with each other. Your writing is eloquent and refreshingly honest and to hear you pour your heart out to others is so brave and endearing. I applaud you.

God has blessed you with a wonderful, exceptional talents, and I do believe you have found your calling. When you came over and took our pictures this Thanksgiving, you were so calm, fun and patient with us all. I don’t know how you did it! All of us are SO thrilled with everything and hope you will be back again.

Now, let’s get to the picture of the 3 boys above. For you to have captured that very moment was such a gift to us!!! Everyone who has seen it loves it and it has been a source for lots of laughter! We will treasure it for always. And, don’t worry, it is already in many frames!!!

Take care and keep the faith. God has a plan for us all and you are right, we all have our ups and downs. But, knowing how many friends and families are looking out for you and praying for you, just shows how loved you are.

With many prayers and love, Lynda
