I went for a high school trip and thought it was 10 times better than France! Madrid was a very beautiful city and we also visited Toledo which we loved. Have a fabulous time!
How fun! I’d love to visit some places but I’m such a weenie and HATE to fly! Need to find a good supply of valium I suppose! haha

This is Alicia from the workshop. I’m jealous. I LOVE Spain. I’ve been there twice and I think I would go there every year if I could.
I haven’t been to Barcelona, but I’ve been to a lot of the areas in southern Spain. Last time I went, the hubby and I stayed in Madrid. We took a couple of day trips by train to Toledo and El Escorial. We went at a similar time of the year and the weather was wonderful. Let me know if you have any questions about places to go, etc.

I guess my only advice would be to remember that “ciao” is Italian.
Oh, you will love Spain! It is beautiful and full of beautiful people. I did have a camera stolen from my locked hotel room in Madrid on New Years Eve several years ago. That, and I still love it. Have a grand time. I can’t wait to see the pictures.
I am unbelievably jealous. It has always been a dream of mine to go to Spain. I am sure you will love it. You must,must,must have some paella. It is delicious and nothing beats authentic. Enjoy yourself! I can’t wait to see your pictures!
