There are certain times when I find myself behind the lens, overwhelmingly humbled that someone would pay me to peek through a “window” into their family’s lives. This was one of those shoots. Single mom – hard working, disciplined, goal-oriented, determined to provide a better life for her son and oh, so fun and son – handsome, respectful, smart, appreciative and charmingly crazy.
They were so comfortable – just hanging out, having fun. As our time together progressed, I found my heart come to life as I took photos that I know will be treasured forever. Mainly for them, but also for me.
Thank you, T & C, for letting me be part of your family for a day. You two make my heart happy.
