I just walked upstairs (at 5 p.m.) from the windowless basement to wake Corey up and was stunned as to what I saw just outside our living room window. So much so it took my breath away. I immediately grabbed my camera in order to document it and as I stepped outside my breath was even more so stolen. And, my hands…my poor hands…my fingernails are still nice and purple even as I warm them up typing away.

(sadly enough this is our front yard filled with leaves. we’ve been certain it’d warm back up just for a day so that we didn’t have to dress like eskimos to rake. do you think there’s a chance they’d freeze and disappear?)
