In the midst of the craziness this summer I also photographed a few weddings. I hope to get them blogged, but I know I cannot go another day without blogging this one. This is my insanely fun (truly one of the most fun people I know to be around) and gorgeous cousin. The day was ridiculously hot and the fun was ridiculously had. I love nothing more than photographing a couple who’s love is so rich and overflowing that everyone in the near vicinity gets blessed by it. This day was exactly that.
We thought we were going to get rain, but it only came long enough for us to get these fun, umbrella-holding shots!
He stood on the edge of the dance floor. I watched him watch his sister uninhibitedly dance all over the hard wood floor. I could tell by the way he kept stepping on and off the dance floor that he was dying to join in. I guess he got sick of missing out and finally all caution was thrown to the wind and the remainder of the evening the dance floor belonged to him.
(To the left is my mom and dad. to the right is …. hmmmm … Evan (the owner of the dance floor) … attempting to get hitched next. ; )
Oh how I love a good dance party!
To end their amazing day they left in a boat. Love it!
Susan, I love you, look up to you and think you are the best!
Happy Monday!

p.s. Although I never made an official announcement I have quit doing “just any” wedding (hence the missing photos from my website). I now am quite selective (they’re SO MUCH work and my feet get super tired) and love doing only weddings that really, truly fit my life, my schedule and my style.
