Transitioning / Moving / Starting in a New Market:
When I interviewed Cheryl Muhr I asked her, “I’m new to the business and new to the city I live in. If we were sitting over coffee what would you say to me.”
This week I received an email from Catherine Hall. She told me that she had read my interview with Cheryl and as an add on to my question about how to break into new markets she suggested I read her interview she recently had with Wedding 360. I’m thrilled that Catherine took the time to email me and let me know of her expertise on this very subject. If you are not familiar with Catherine Hall she is a renowned photographer and one of the top leading women in the profession today. Her work is worth checking into, her blog one to follow.
I thanked Catherine for emailing and thought it was perfect timing. Just like me I know many of you are either new to the business or are considering starting a business in the near future. Although her interview was specific to her move from NYC to the San Francisco Bay Area I thought it was also quite valuable to those of us starting new businesses.
