Something a little different today. Lisa asked on the Facebook page if I’d give a tutorial on curves. The answer is yes! : )

A short tutorial on curves, levels (and why I prefer levels over curves), cropping for a more pleasing composition and some easy tricks using layers:

Thank you Jess! I was so excited when I saw the post on Facebook asking for this tutorial, cuz I feel like sometimes I rely to heavily on an action to get the look I want when I could just create it myself with curves or levels. I learned a ton! Especially about layers… I feel like that is another untapped resource in my editing workflow. Off to practice!
ps. its a little surreal learning things on an image that I took. but in a good way! ;)
