it’s the ivy you love growing all over your fence, up the brick on your house and wrapping itself each week around your trashcans sitting in the gravel next to your neighbor’s fence. today when rolling the can back to it’s spot after the faithful trash guys emptied it, I noticed the best, brightest colored berries newly growing from the ivy. maybe it’s the ivy’s way of saying thanks for the rain that stopped by yesterday afternoon.
