I have been dying to show off at least a few of the photos from this insanely fun wedding I shot a few weekends ago. I believe it was the first wedding I’ve ever worked at where I was honestly jealous. I was dying to throw my camera in the car, grab a cold drink and get out on the dance floor! It was that type of celebration. The weather was gorgeous (minus the heat … good gracious!), the friends and families incredible, the bride and groom so fun to work with and the details of the event like no other.
Emily told me in our pre-planning days that on her list of priorities getting to the reception after the ceremony was higher on her list than getting loads of bride+groom shots. (What?! Say it ain’t so!) But, after we were done with the scheduled shots and the dancing began it all made perfect sense to me. The band was incredible and the celebrating went on for hours! I’m not so sure a single person left until 11:00. It was that type of fun.
If ever Corey and I decide to throw ourselves another wedding party I want to do it just like Emily & Scott did. Everything was perfect. See for yourselves.
Scott + Emily, Thank you for being so incredibly fun to work with. I feel blessed to know you and blessed to have had the opportunity to document such an important day in your lives. I look forward to snapping more photos of you as your family grows.
xoxo,
jc

p.s. I’m in Memphis sweating the summer away, spending time with friends and doing shoot after shoot. I cannot complain (minus the heat & the lack of sleep), but I will say I’m looking forward to the winter when things will slow down again and I will have a moment (or 3 months) to hibernate. Loads of incredible shoots to be blogged soon. Bear (yep, the hibernating kind) with me!

So much fun to see these having been part of the ‘behind the scenes’stuff. Thanks again for letting me tag along. These pictures turned out beautiful!
Just stunning! Love all the bright fun colors they had. Looks like it was a lovely ceremony and great party - they must be so pleased with these shots!
Beautiful, Jessica! I am glad you are having so much fun–that is what it is all about! Oh, I love their MoonPie favors!!
Jessica,
Your photographs are absolutely beautiful! Too bad you don’t live in Nashville…I’d have you capturing my angels on camera constantly!
Jessica,
You made our day even better than I could have ever imagined. You are so laid back which fits my personality perfect. My jaw just dropped when I got to see the pictures. Thank you for the memories that will last forever! I am so so happy!
Jessica these are stunning! I love the one with the couple “behind” the water. So beautiful.
Love the one where you captured the Dad crying. Love the bridesmaid dresses & the ties. Beautiful wedding!
I was looking at your website b/c my cousin Nikki S. told me about you and she showed me pictures you took of her and her friends. So, I found this set and thought “I know this girl.” WOW!! Small world. Mike Fleming was actually my Brooks representative for my past store for many years…and I knew his daughter. So wild. I had no idea his daughter got married…I knew she was engaged though. What a beautiful wedding. So glad I found your site. Can you email me and tell me where you are located and maybe one day I can have you come and take pictures of me and my family…your work is SOOO beautiful!!!
Oh, and I see the comment about the Dad crying. Mike Fleming is one of the most wonderful fathers ever! He loves his little girl more than anyone I’ve ever met.
