Friday night I was changing clothes before we went out. The first shirt I tried on had shrunk. Bummer. So, I put on ol’ trusty and it had shrunk, too. I tried to cover the mishap up with a little cardigan, but when I buttoned the middle button the rest of the sweater spread as if the one side was terrified of the other. Then, I realized that everything has shrunk.
So, I stopped to think about it … rolled my eyes, put on a black top and large, gray sweater and we went out for pizza, beer and ice cream.
From one fluffy to another (please tell me you’ve gained a little winter fluff, too – even if you’re lying – just so I’ll feel better),

p.s. Thank you so very much for all your incredibly kind comments. You’ve truly helped me get my mojo back. The list … in my head … that I couldn’t get going … well, I started and scratching off each line feels like shedding away unnecessary pounds (off “to-do” fat, not body fat. gah. gimme a break.)
p.p.s. I’m writing over at TCM today. Check out one of the items I marked off the list.
p.p.s.s. I’m excited to share some big news with you all this week. Stay tuned …
